Anti-Human Trafficking and Forced Labor Statement
praga.work (“Platform”, “Website”) is an independent online information platform that provides technical functionality for publishing and viewing job-related advertisements for employment opportunities in the Czech Republic.
The Platform has a zero-tolerance position toward human trafficking, forced labor, and any form of exploitation.
1. Zero-Tolerance Statement
The Platform does not allow content that promotes, facilitates, or involves:
– human trafficking,
– forced labor,
– debt bondage,
– exploitation of workers,
– unlawful recruitment practices,
– confiscation of documents, threats, coercion, or similar abusive practices.
2. Platform Role and Limitations
The Platform is not an employer, recruiter, staffing agency, or labor broker. The Platform does not participate in employment relationships and does not control user interactions.
The Platform does not and cannot guarantee that job offers published by users are lawful, ethical, or free from exploitation. Users remain solely responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws and for conducting their own due diligence.
3. No Duty to Investigate or Verify
The Platform does not have and does not assume any obligation to:
– verify the identity or legal status of employers or job seekers,
– investigate job offers,
– audit users,
– conduct background checks,
– monitor communications between users.
Any measures taken by the Platform are voluntary and do not create an ongoing duty of monitoring or enforcement.
4. Reporting Concerns
Users may report content they believe involves trafficking, forced labor, or exploitation through the Platform’s reporting mechanisms or contact channels.
Submission of a report does not guarantee review, action, or a response. Where appropriate, users should contact competent authorities directly.
5. Cooperation with Authorities
The Platform may comply with legally valid requests from competent authorities where required by applicable law. The Platform does not assume any obligation to proactively report user content or activities.
6. Amendments
The Platform may update this Statement at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
