Payment and Refund Policy

This Payment and Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs the provision of paid features on the praga.work platform (“Platform”, “Site”) and applies together with the Terms of Use and other applicable Platform documents.

By making a payment on the Platform, the User confirms that they have reviewed this Policy and agree to its terms.

Paid Platform Features

Standard publication of vacancies on praga.work is free of charge.

The Platform may provide additional paid features, including vacancy promotion, increased visibility, highlighting, automatic promotion, and other additional technical features of the Site.

Paid features provide access solely to the relevant functionality of the Platform.

The Platform does not guarantee employment, responses, any particular number of vacancy views, contacts, candidates, or any other specific results from the use of paid features.

Account Balance Top-Up

Users may top up their account balance to use paid features available on the Platform.

Following a successful payment, the corresponding amount is credited to the User’s balance in the form of Platform credits.

From the moment the paid credits are credited to the balance, the balance top-up service is considered fully performed.

The account balance may be displayed in US dollars solely for the User’s convenience and for calculating the cost of available features.

A balance top-up constitutes the purchase of digital Platform credits intended exclusively for use within the service.

Platform credits may be used exclusively to activate available additional paid features, including vacancy promotion and other available paid Platform features.

Platform credits are not money, a bank account, electronic money, an electronic wallet, a payment instrument, or cryptocurrency.

Credits cannot be withdrawn, transferred to other users, or exchanged for money, except in refund cases provided for by this Policy, the rules of the relevant payment service, or mandatory applicable law.

Bonus credits and other credits provided free of charge have no independent monetary value and are not refundable for cash.

Payment Methods

Available payment methods are displayed to the User before payment is made.

Standard payments, including bank card payments and other available payment methods, may be processed through Paddle.

Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record and authorised reseller in accordance with its terms.

Cryptocurrency payments are processed through NOWPayments.

The Platform is not a bank, payment system, financial institution, electronic wallet, or escrow service.

Payment processing is additionally governed by the terms of the relevant payment service and applicable law.

Cryptocurrency Payments

When paying with cryptocurrency, the User is responsible for checking the selected cryptocurrency, blockchain network, amount, and other information required to make the payment.

The User acknowledges that:

  • — transaction confirmation depends on the operation of the relevant blockchain network;
  • — a confirmed blockchain transaction cannot technically be cancelled or reversed in the same manner as a standard card transaction;
  • — use of an incorrect network, unsupported cryptocurrency, or incorrect payment details may result in processing delays or loss of funds;
  • — network fees, delays, and technical circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Platform may occur.

If a refund for a completed cryptocurrency payment is approved or required by applicable law, the refund is made as a separate transaction and does not cancel the original blockchain transaction.

The possibility of recovering an incorrectly sent or incomplete transaction may depend on its technical status, the network used, and the capabilities of NOWPayments.

Time of Service Performance

The account balance top-up is considered a fully performed service once the paid credits have been successfully credited to the User’s balance.

Subsequent non-use of the credits, partial use of them, a change in the User’s decision, or the absence of any further need for paid features does not in itself mean that the top-up service was not performed and does not create an automatic right to a refund.

This provision does not limit any mandatory rights of the User under applicable law or any refund cases provided for by this Policy or the rules of the relevant payment service.

Payment Review Request

If the User believes that a payment was processed incorrectly, they may submit a request for review within 14 days from the date of payment.

For the purposes of the review, the Platform may request information necessary to identify the relevant transaction and establish the circumstances of the request.

Submitting a request does not mean that a refund is automatically approved.

This period does not limit the User’s mandatory rights or any other time limits for claims provided by applicable law or the rules of the relevant payment service.

Refunds

Credits credited to the balance are generally not refundable solely because the User decides not to use them or changes their decision after purchasing them.

A refund or corresponding adjustment may be considered, in particular, in the following cases:

  • — a technical error during payment processing;
  • — an erroneous duplicate charge for the same payment;
  • — successful payment without subsequent crediting of the corresponding credits due to a technical error;
  • — a confirmed unauthorised transaction;
  • — a confirmed error by the Platform or the payment service;
  • — a refund is provided for or approved by the relevant payment service;
  • — a refund is required by applicable law.

Each request is reviewed individually, taking into account the circumstances of the specific transaction, the payment method, the status of the relevant credits, and applicable requirements.

Refund Limitations

Where there are no grounds for a refund under this Policy, the rules of the payment service, or applicable law, a refund may be refused, including where:

  • — the paid credits were properly credited to the User’s balance;
  • — the relevant balance top-up service was fully performed;
  • — the payment was made voluntarily by the User and successfully confirmed;
  • — the sole reason for the request is the User’s decision not to use the purchased credits or paid features.

The fact that the User has not used credited credits does not in itself prove that the balance top-up service was not performed.

Refunds for Payments Processed Through Paddle

If a payment was processed through Paddle, any refund of the relevant transaction is made through Paddle’s payment infrastructure.

Where grounds for a refund exist, the Platform may initiate a full or partial refund using the Paddle tools available to it.

Paddle may also handle refunds, payment disputes, and other transactions in accordance with its terms, policies, and applicable law.

The Platform does not make a direct refund outside Paddle for a transaction processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record.

If the corresponding credits were credited to the User’s balance in connection with a refunded payment, the Platform may cancel the unused portion of those credits.

Refunds of Cryptocurrency Payments

If a cryptocurrency payment was processed through NOWPayments, the availability and method of a refund depend on the status of the payment, the network used, and the technical capabilities of the relevant payment infrastructure.

If the funds have already been successfully received and the refund is approved, it may be made through a separate cryptocurrency transaction.

Necessary network fees and other actual technical costs may be taken into account when processing a refund to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If a refund is made, the Platform may cancel the corresponding amount of unused credits credited as a result of the refunded transaction.

Mandatory User Rights

Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits any rights of the User that cannot be excluded or restricted by agreement under applicable law.

If the User acts as a consumer and applicable law provides a right to withdraw from a distance contract, obtain a payment refund, or exercise other mandatory remedies, those rights remain available to the extent provided by law.

Where applicable law permits the right of withdrawal to end after the commencement or full performance of a digital service provided that the legally required conditions have been satisfied, the relevant legal requirements apply.

The provisions of this Policy do not limit the User’s mandatory rights in the event that a paid feature is not provided, is technically defective, or otherwise does not conform, where such rights are provided by applicable law.

Payment Disputes and Abuse

If a payment is cancelled, refunded, disputed, or declared invalid, the Platform may adjust the User’s balance and cancel the corresponding amount of credits.

If the relevant credits have already been used, the Platform may take proportionate measures in relation to the account in accordance with the Terms of Use and applicable law.

Fraudulent payments, knowingly unfounded payment disputes, abuse of refund procedures, or other attempts to obtain paid features without proper payment may result in measures being taken against the account in accordance with the Platform’s rules.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform is not liable for delays, failures, or other consequences arising from the operation of banks, payment services, payment networks, blockchain networks, or other third-party systems outside the reasonable control of the Platform.

The Platform is not responsible for consequences resulting from errors made by the User when entering payment information or carrying out a cryptocurrency transaction where the relevant error was not caused by the Platform.

Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

Changes

The Platform may update this Policy in connection with changes to functionality, paid features, payment methods, payment services, or applicable requirements.

The current version of the Policy is published on the Site.

Where applicable law requires additional notice to Users regarding the relevant changes, such notice will be provided through an available method.
