Terms of Service
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) establish legally binding rules governing access to the praga.work platform (“Platform”, “Website”) and the use of its features.
By using the Website, registering an account, or otherwise using the Platform, the User confirms that they have read these Terms, understand their content, and accept them.
If the User does not agree with any part of these Terms, they must stop using the Platform.
Status of the Platform
The Platform is an independent online service providing technical tools for searching and publishing job vacancies, creating and using CVs, managing user accounts, and enabling direct interaction between users.
The Platform provides a technical environment and is not an employer, recruitment agency, employment agency, party to an employment contract, representative, or partner of its users.
The Platform does not make hiring or rejection decisions, determine salary levels, working schedules or other employment conditions, and does not participate in the payment of salaries.
The Platform does not make decisions regarding the issuance of visas, work permits, residence permits, or other government-issued documents.
All arrangements between users and visitors to the Website arise directly between the relevant parties without the participation of the Platform.
User Accounts
The Platform may provide accounts for job seekers, companies, recruitment agencies, and recruiters.
Depending on the type of account, users may have access to features including creating and editing CVs, publishing and managing vacancies, saving vacancies, providing contact information, account verification, promotion features, and other Website functionality.
Publicly available vacancies may be viewed without registration.
By creating an account, the User confirms that the information they provide is accurate, up to date, and does not violate applicable law or the rights of third parties.
The User must keep their account information up to date and is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their account access credentials.
Job Vacancies and User Content
Vacancies, profile information, CVs, descriptions, photographs, logos, and other materials are published or provided by users.
The User is responsible for the content they publish, its accuracy and legality, and for having the necessary rights to use such content.
The author of a vacancy must have the right to publish the relevant vacancy and must provide accurate information about the employer or company, position, duties, place and format of work, remuneration, working schedule, candidate requirements, and other stated conditions.
Where a vacancy contains information concerning accommodation, visas, work permits, immigration status, or other additional conditions, the author of the vacancy is responsible for the accuracy of such information.
The Platform is not required to conduct prior review of every vacancy or other item of user content before publication.
Publication of content on the Website does not mean that the Platform confirms or guarantees all information contained in that content.
By publishing content on the Platform, the User grants the Platform a limited, non-exclusive right to store, technically process, and display such content to the extent necessary for the operation of the relevant Website features.
Rights to user content remain with the relevant User or other rights holder.
Verification of Companies and Recruiters
For certain types of accounts, the Platform may provide company or recruiter identity verification.
Company verification may be carried out using available official and public registers, including ARES and VIES, as well as by reviewing documents provided by the User.
Recruiter verification may include reviewing an identity document and a photograph or selfie provided for identity verification.
Verification confirms only that certain information provided corresponds to documents, official registers, or the results of the verification performed at the time of verification.
A verification status or badge does not constitute a guarantee of the User’s good faith, solvency, or reliability and does not guarantee the accuracy of all vacancies published by the User, actual working conditions, or the performance of the User’s obligations.
Users independently decide whether to interact with one another.
No Guarantee of Employment
The Platform does not guarantee employment, any particular level of income, number of views or responses, conclusion of an employment contract, actual working conditions, accommodation, a visa, or a work permit.
The Platform does not make hiring decisions and is not responsible for the outcome of negotiations or arrangements between users.
Users may communicate directly by telephone, email, WhatsApp, Telegram, Viber, or through other external services.
The Platform is not a party to such calls or communications and does not control their content.
The User independently evaluates the other party and the proposed conditions before transferring funds, providing documents, or assuming any other obligations.
Paid Platform Features
Standard publication of vacancies on the Platform is free of charge.
The Platform may provide additional paid features, including vacancy promotion and other additional technical Website functionality.
The cost of the relevant feature or the number of credits required to use it is displayed to the User before activation.
Paid features provide access solely to the corresponding technical functionality of the Platform.
Use of a paid feature does not guarantee responses, any particular number of views, employment, or any other specific result.
Detailed payment and refund rules are governed by the separate Payment and Refund Policy.
Account Balance and Platform Credits
Users may top up their account balance in order to use paid features available on the Platform.
Following a successful payment, the corresponding number of credits is added to the User’s internal balance.
Once the paid credits have been added to the balance, the balance top-up service is considered fully performed.
Whether or not the User subsequently uses the credited amount is the User’s own decision.
The account balance may be displayed in US dollars or another monetary equivalent solely for the User’s convenience.
Topping up the balance constitutes the purchase of internal digital Platform credits intended exclusively for the use of available paid Website features.
Platform credits are not money, a bank account, an electronic wallet, or an independent means of payment.
Credits cannot be withdrawn, transferred to another user, or exchanged for money, except where expressly required by applicable law or provided for in the Payment and Refund Policy.
Bonus Credits
The Platform may provide users with bonus credits, including upon registration, as part of promotional offers, special programs, or other campaigns.
Bonus credits are internal Platform credits and have no independent monetary value.
Bonus credits:
- are not money;
- cannot be withdrawn;
- cannot be transferred to other users;
- cannot be exchanged for money.
The Platform may establish specific conditions for the use of bonus credits, restrictions, or an expiration period in accordance with the terms of the relevant promotion or offer.
Moderation
The Platform is not required to conduct general prior review or continuous monitoring of all user content.
The Platform may review specific content or User activity following receipt of a complaint or notice, upon independently identifying a possible violation, where a security risk is detected, or upon receiving a lawful request from a competent authority.
Depending on the circumstances, the Platform may:
- leave the content unchanged;
- request additional information;
- temporarily restrict the visibility of the content;
- remove the content;
- issue a warning to the User;
- restrict certain account features;
- temporarily suspend or terminate access to the account.
The submission of a complaint or notice does not in itself establish that a violation has occurred.
Where required by applicable law, the Platform will inform the affected User of the reason for the restriction and of any available means of submitting a further request or challenge.
More detailed rules are set out in the Moderation Policy and the Complaints and Notices Policy.
Prohibited Use
The User must use the Platform lawfully and comply with the applicable Website rules.
The Platform must not be used for fraud, publication of knowingly false or unlawful vacancies, impersonation of another person or organization, unlawful collection of personal data, distribution of malicious software, circumvention of security or verification mechanisms, infringement of third-party rights, or any other unlawful activity.
Additional restrictions are set out in the Prohibited Content and Abuse Policy.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform is not responsible for the actions, omissions, statements, promises, or decisions of users, Website visitors, or third parties.
The Platform is not responsible for the conclusion, performance, or non-performance of agreements entered into directly between users.
The Platform does not guarantee the accuracy of all information published by users and is not responsible for consequences resulting from decisions made by a User solely on the basis of user-generated content.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform is not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, income, business opportunities, or reputation resulting from the actions of other users or the use of external services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits the liability of the Platform or the rights of the User where such exclusion or limitation is expressly prohibited by applicable law.
Third-Party Resources and Services
The Website may contain links or technical redirects to third-party websites, messaging services, payment services, and other external resources.
Such services operate independently of praga.work and may apply their own terms of use and privacy policies.
The Platform does not control the content, availability, or operation of third-party resources and is not responsible for the actions of such services to the extent they are outside the Platform’s control.
Personal Data
The processing of personal data provided or generated when using the Platform is governed by the Privacy Policy.
The use of cookies and similar technical technologies is governed by the Cookie Policy.
Changes to the Terms
The Platform may amend these Terms in connection with the development of the Website, changes to its functionality, rules, or applicable requirements.
The current version of the Terms is published on the Website.
Where a change materially affects the rights or obligations of registered users, the Platform may additionally notify them through an available communication method before the relevant changes take effect where such notification is required by applicable law.
Further use of the Platform is governed by the current version of the Terms, subject to the User’s mandatory rights under applicable law.
Final Provisions
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
Matters not expressly governed by these Terms are governed by applicable law.
Other current legal documents of praga.work apply to the relevant Platform features together with these Terms.
