iPhone 18 Pro now available for pre-order: price, release date and key features
Apple has opened pre-orders for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. The new flagship smartphones feature the A20 Pro chip, an upgraded camera system with variable aperture, improved battery life and new artificial intelligence capabilities.
Pre-orders began on September 12, while the iPhone 18 Pro release date is September 18, 2026, in more than 65 countries and regions. Availability will expand to another 20 countries on September 25.
iPhone 18 Pro price and specifications
In the United States, the iPhone 18 Pro starts at $1,199, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at $1,299. Both models begin with 256GB of storage, with configurations available up to 2TB.
One of the biggest upgrades is a 48-megapixel Fusion main camera with variable aperture. The phones also feature the new A20 Pro chip and an improved cooling system designed to support sustained performance.
The new models run iOS 27 and support Apple Intelligence and updated Siri features. According to Apple, the lineup is available in four finishes, including the new Burgundy option.
