Emirates Will Launch Daily Nonstop Dubai–Helsinki Flights on October 1

Emirates is preparing to open a new daily route between Dubai and Helsinki on October 1, 2026. The service will create the only year-round nonstop air connection between Finland and the United Arab Emirates.

The route is particularly useful for passengers travelling beyond Dubai, as the schedule has been designed around connections to destinations across Asia, Africa, Australia and the Middle East.

Dubai–Helsinki flights start October 1

According to the official Emirates schedule, flight EK167 will leave Dubai at 08:45 and arrive in Helsinki at 14:55.

The return EK168 service is scheduled to depart Helsinki at 16:45 and reach Dubai at 00:20 the following day. Flights will operate every day.

Emirates will use the Airbus A350

The airline plans to operate the route with its Airbus A350. Helsinki passengers will therefore receive Emirates' latest cabin products, including Premium Economy, from the beginning of the service.

The A350 has become an increasingly important part of the airline's expansion. Emirates said on September 14 that the aircraft was already serving 30 destinations, with that number expected to reach 36 by the end of 2026.

Emirates is expanding again after summer disruption

The Helsinki launch comes as Emirates reports a recovery in passenger demand. In its latest network update, the airline said it carried more than 8.6 million passengers in July and August and was operating at around 93% of its pre-disruption capacity.

Emirates is also increasing frequencies to several destinations and deploying newer or refurbished aircraft on additional European routes. For Finland, however, the most significant change is the arrival of a permanent direct connection to Dubai from October 1.
